Avengers Endgame new trailer ALTERED to cover up THIS time travel scene?

Today Avengers Endgame tickets went on sale alongside the release of a surprise fourth trailer. In the new footage, Marvel fans were especially pleased to see Tony Stark and Steve Rogers reunited after their falling out in Captain America: Civil War. In the brief shot, Iron Man asks Cap if he trusts him, to which Steve replies that he does before the pair shake hands. However, many fans are convinced that Cap’s new suit is a CGI-cover up for his original costume from the first Avengers movie. WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD.

Last year, Avengers Endgame set photos revealed Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans, in a similar scene with Tony Stark, wearing the same costume and having blonder hair.

The scene appeared to be the Battle of New York from Avengers Assemble, with all the wreckage around them.

But crucially, Cap was wearing his suit from that movie – so perhaps the trailer has been altered to cover this up.

If this is the case, Tony could be conversing with a younger version of Cap, telling him to trust him that he’s from the future and needs access to the Mind Stone in Loki’s Sceptre or the Tesseract which contains the Space Stone.

If not a younger version of Cap, this could be present-day Cap pretending to be younger Cap.

That scenario would be very Back to the Future Part II, when Marty McFly and Doc Brown had to avoid their younger selves in 1955.
