Arsenal's summer transfer plans revealed as Unai Emery puts his stamp on squad

Unai Emery wants to bring in three new faces this summer as he continues his Arsenal squad rebuild.

The Gunners missed out on the top four last season but the Spaniard has steered them into the Champions League spots with eight games remaining.

Emery was limited to just one January signing as Denis Suarez was brought in on loan from Barcelona with view to a permanent deal.

However, Suarez’s switch to the Emirates hasn’t gone to plan and he has yet to make a start.

Arsenal are unlikely to make the move permanent, leaving a void to fill in the summer.

However, Emery has just £45million to spend so Gunners chiefs may have to get creative if they are to strengthen in three key areas.

Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus and Arsenal want to sign a replacement for the Welshman, who has featured 35 times in all competitions this season.

Emery is also keen to add a specialist left-back to his ranks.

Sead Kolasinac has impressed down the left flank but is preferred in a wing-back role.

Denis Suarez is likely to return to Barcelona

Emery’s kitty will be boosted if they qualify for the Champions League or if he decides to offload any players to raise cash for new arrivals.

Mesut Ozil has been linked with a move away from north London but his £350,000-a-week wages could put off potential suitors.
