Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang drops major transfer hint to Man Utd and Barcelona

“I love the fans here and when I was younger I used to watch Arsenal because they had always great players, and yeah they won trophies as well.

“So I think it’s really a pleasure to be here, I’m really happy. I think that’s the feeling.”

Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith believes the Gunners would need to sign a proven goalscorer to replace Aubameyang if he does leave the club.

“It’s asking a lot of Nketiah or Martinelli, as talented as they both are, to step into the shoes of a tried-and-tested goalscorer like Aubameyang, who has been playing at the top level for a lot of years,” he told Sky Sports.
