Arsenal are one of the teams ready to battle it out for the signature of Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman this summer.
The Gunners have joined the race for the 22-year-old stopper alongside the likes of Everton, Fulham and Celtic, who are all keen on bringing him in.

Woodman is still under contract at Newcastle until the end of next season but the Magpies are expected to cash in on him over the summer, rather than let him leave for free at a later date.
Although seen as a ‘keeper with great potential, he is yet to appear in the Premier League for Newcastle and has been limited to three FA Cup appearances this season.
The 6ft 2in stopper has spent spells on loan at Crawley, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen, and has six caps for England U21s.
He also won the award for best goalkeeper at the 2017 U20 World Cup after keeping a clean sheet in the final as England beat Venezuela 1-0.
Arsenal are looking for a replacement for Petr Cech who is retiring at the end of the season and see Woodburn as strong competition for first choice Bernd Leno.
The Gunners also have an advantage in the race for Woodman’s signature as his father, Andy, works for Arsenal as head of academy goalkeeping and the U23 goalkeeper coach.
Ben Woodman was also born in London, albeit the south London suburb of Croydon, and may be tempted by a return to the capital.
It may be that Woodman is tempted by the prospect of first team football elsewhere, though, as that is something the Gunners cannot offer him at this stage of his career.
The Newcastle Chronicle are reporting that Woodman could be part of a substantial summer clear out from St James’ Park, with Rob Elliot, Ronaldo Aarons, Achraf Lazaar, Jack Colback and Henri Saivet all likely to be ditched.
