After a hellishly long four-month wait, pubs are finally reopening next week.

And to say we’re excited is an understatement.

Finally, we get to sit outside in the sunshine with five other friends – one small step closer to normality.

To celebrate the return of the pubs, bars and restaurants, Aperol is giving away thousands of free drinks in a campaign called Together Again.

From Monday April 12th, if you order two Aperol Spritz from a participating venue then the popular orange booze company will reimburse you for one of your drinks – basically, a buy-one-get-one-free scenario.

All you need to do is register online by May 17th and receive a confirmation email.

Once you’ve ordered your beverages, upload a photo of your receipt showing the two drinks, by following the link in the email, and you’ll receive a refund of £8.

It couldn’t be simpler.

Punters have until August 31st to get their drinks in and there are 100,000 up for grabs.

Just be sure to check your chosen establishment is participating in the deal – which is running at selected venues in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Loris Contro, Aperol UK brand ambassador, said: ‘Life, like a Spritz, is best served shared. That’s why, after so long apart, we wanted to play our part in bringing people together again, as hospitality venues re-open across the country – with an Aperol Spritz on us.’

How can we argue with that?

In other drinks news, Starbucks has brought out a new vibrant beverage that’s getting us in the mood for summer.

The chain has unveiled a new, bright blue bubblegum Frappuccino, with a pink popping candy topping.
