Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke admitted live on air that he was struggling through a feature, due to his eyesight. The 54-year-old professional dancer admitted that he was having trouble focusing on a member of the crew, who was standing behind the camera.
He complained that they were standing too far away for him to see properly.
Anton, spoke out after presenting a feature about the Queen and her new Corgi puppies.
“I have to say, that’s rather a long way away from me to be able to see that.
“I’m struggling. I can barely see,” Anton told the show’s host Steph McGovern.
Ahead of his stint on television, the well-dressed father-of-two took social media to share a behind-the-scenes snap.
“Back in a whistle & flute ready for today’s @PackedLunchC4 with Steph!” he wrote online, using the cockney rhyming slang for suit.
The TV star looked very dapper in a blue blazer and trousers with a coordinating patterned tie.
“See you at 12:30, my loves! Anton,” he signed off, adding the hashtags: “#AntonAttire #packedlunchc4”.
“Looking gorgeous,” wrote one follower in the comments section, while another added: “Love you on the show.”
Steph, 38, also shared a backstage look at today’s show on the picture-sharing site.
She posted a video of Anton during rehearsals for the programme.
