SATURDAY Night Takeaway’s Ant McPartlin reunited with his labrador Hurley during the coronavirus lockdown tonight.
The presenter shares custody of the pooch with ex wife Lisa Armstrong and revealed he has been taking care of him in self isolation.
He showed off his adorable dogs as he hosted SNT with Declan Donnelly from home tonight.
Tonight, viewers saw the Geordie duo on a split screen as they chatted to each other from their sofas.
The Geordie duo hosted their final live show last weekend and revealed they would be filming the remaining episodes in advance.
Fans took to Twitter after Ant held Milo and Bumble in his lap as Hurley shuffled around his feet, whilst Dec stroked Rocky in the adorable scenes.
One viewer tweeted: “how cute are Your doggy’s they need their own show fellas #SNT“
Another fan gushed: “Just when I thought I couldn’t fancy Ant and Dec anymore, you see them in their comfies with their dogs ??? got to love them!”
General custody of Hurley was initially arranged at the start of Lisa and Ant’s bitter divorce, with the dog spending a week at each of the former couple’s homes.
The six-year-old lab gets transported from Lisa’s Chiswick home to Ant’s rented London mansion by a private chauffeur, who is a long-time employee of Ant and his co-star Declan.
During their divorce settlement, Ant was said to have told Lisa that she can have “anything she wants – except Hurley”.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that the pair could not agree on who should get the pooch following their split.
The couple separated after 11 years of marriage amid Ant’s ongoing battle with drink and drug addiction.
The star was then fined £86,000 in March 2018 after a drink drive car crash, with Ant announcing his break from work commitments soon afterwards.
Lisa often posts pictures when its her turn to have Hurley.
She cherished a moment with her beloved pooch just last month.
Sharing a sweet snap of her snuggled up in bed with the dog she wrote: “Really Hurls!!!…… Haha…. #pawonhead #tongueineyeball#Hurleywash.”
