An edible candy cane house is coming to London – how to book your stay

The festive season is when London truly shines, from Regent Street’s twinkling lights to the Natural History Museum’s magical ice skating rink.

And this Christmas, London is about to get even more festive as Booking.com is giving four people the chance to stay at an edible candy cane house in the heart of Soho.

The three-story home will be decked out in a candy cane façade and, once inside, guests will discover a candy lounge with sweet-filled baubles, candy canes, cupcakes and a candy floss-coloured Christmas tree.

The master ginger ‘breadroom’ can be found by following the Christmas sugar cookie stepping stones to a woodland filled with biodegradable fake snow and pine trees, complete with edible chocolate pinecones and a gingerbread bedside clock.

The coco kitchen sees guests step inside a giant caramel chocolate, complete with melting chocolate walls and caramel flooring and comes with a chocolate-style cheese board with pick and mix sweets.

Available to book for two nights only – on December 18 and 19 – with two guests each night, the house on Soho Square will be priced at £99 per night and bookings for the 18th will open on December 9 at 10am, and bookings for the 19th will open on December 13 at 10am.

Guests will also receive a complimentary hamper, with celebratory bubble and confectionery. A sweet-tooth haven indeed.
