Amie Rohan confirms she has a 'new man' in her life following split from AFL star husband Gary

Amie Rohan has found love again, following her split from AFL star husband Gary Rohan. 

Speaking to The Herald Sun, the former WAG has revealed she has a ‘new man’ who she met in February, but wants to keep the romance private. 

‘It’s really nice but keeping it to myself, I’ve got to have one piece of my life that isn’t for everyone else,’ she said on Saturday.

Amie added that the new romance has revived her sense of self worth after her divorce. 

‘It’s made me realise I’m normal and I’m not a broken soul that’s not loveable. It’s exciting’ she said. 

In February, Amie denied rumours that that she was dating Riley Carter.

A representative for the WAG denied the pair were an item in a statement to Daily Mail Australia: ‘Amie and Riley are not dating and are purely just friends,’ the representative confirmed. ‘[They] were enjoying a night out on Saturday with a group of their friends’

She sparked chatter that they were an item after sharing two very cosy snaps to Instagram while on a night out in Barwon Heads, Victoria with the footballer, who plays for the Whittlesea Football Club in Victoria. 

A representative for the WAG denied the pair were an item in a statement to Daily Mail Australia. 

‘Amie and Riley are not dating and are purely just friends,’ the representative confirmed.

Amie and Gary wed in 2016 and share two daughters, Bella, three, and Sadie, one. 

The Rohans’ marriage reportedly ended just months after their daughter Sadie was born in March 2020.  

They split shortly after Gary, 30, travelled with his teammates to Queensland to join the AFL Covid hub.

He is now seeing Madi Bennett after his marriage broke down.
