One of their most requested acts, Tame Impala will play the festival for the first time.

The Slow Rush, Tame Impala’s hotly anticipated album will arrive next Valentine’s Day, and will be their first album in 5 years, which is good news for fans.

In an All Points East exclusive this will be Tame Impala’s only UK show in 2020, so if fans want to see them they’ll need to grab tickets quick.

They’ll be supported by the unmissable Glass Animals, and American band Whitney.  Caribou will also return to the stage, after a five year absence.

This may be one of the first festival announcements of the year, but is already shaping out to be the best.

Last year the festival bought together huge headliners for a legendary month of music.

Not content with just one massive headliner, they booked six including Christine And The Queens and Bring Me The Horizon, brought The Strokes to the UK for the first time in 4 years, The Chemical Brothers, Mumford & Sons and the iconic Bon Iver closed the festival – debuting two new tracks from his then unheard new album.

In more festival news, this week Glastonbury Festival confirmed Paul McCartney will play a headline slot at 50th anniversary in 2020.

Harry Styles tickets will also go on sale this week, if pop is more your thing.
