Alicia Silverstone has won the reactions to Paul Rudd being named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2021, dropping an iconic Clueless throwback.

The 52-year-old was given the coveted title this week, taking the baton from Michael B Jordan, sending everyone into meltdown.

However, his former co-star was quick to remind us all that she has been raving about his good looks for decades.

Taking to TikTok, she shared a throwback of the moment her character, Cher Horowitz, had an epiphany that she was in love with Josh (Rudd).

‘I mean… Cher’s been saying he is a kind of a Baldwin since 1995  #Clueless #PaulRudd,’ she captioned the clip.

Well, she’s not wrong.

Alicia isn’t the only famous star to celebrate Paul’s new title, with Friends actress Jennifer Aniston also commenting on the award, insisting ‘we’ve always known this’.

The star shared the official announcement on her Instagram stories and wrote: ‘This makes me so happy. We’ve ALWAYS known this, but Paul Rudd is officially @people’s Sexiest Man Alive!

‘You don’t age, which is weird. But we still love you.’

Seriously Paul, drop that beauty secret and you could earn a fortune.

The Marvel actor spoke of being named Sexiest Man Alive this week, admitting that ‘so many people’ should have got the title before him.

He said of the award: ‘I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, “What?”

‘This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.

‘I mean, I’m going to lean into it hard. I’m going to own this. I’m not going to try to be like “Oh, I’m so modest.” I’m getting business cards made.

‘But all of my friends will destroy me and I expect them to. And that’s why they’re my friends.’

Never change, Paul.
