Aldi’s up to 30% off garden sale includes a giant inflatable swan for £15

KEEP cool over the bank holiday weekend by heading over to Aldi where it’s got an up to 30 per cent off sale on garden items.

It includes a giant inflatable swan for just £14.99 reduced from £19.99 – that’s £5 off and a 25 per cent saving.

It includes a repair patch for unfortunate punctures and once inflated is 194cm x 1.52cm x 1.47cm.

This is the cheapest price we could find for a similar inflatable swan with Amazon selling the same one for £21.95, which is still more even with free delivery.

If you don’t want to shell out quite so much Amazon is selling a smaller Intex-branded inflatable swan for £12.50.

This one measures in at 102cm x 99cm x 130cm. And eBay has the smaller version for even less at £10 including free delivery.

Aldi’s sale is actually across a whole host of different items though, including clothing, camping gear and kitchen utensils.

But it’s online only so don’t bother heading down to your local store.

Just bear in mind that standard delivery and click and collect in store costs £2.95, while it’s £3.95 for next day delivery.

So with the mercury set to soar to as high as 33C this weekend we’ve rounded-up two more top deals that will keep you and the kids cool in the heat.

Crane Inflatable Floating Island

This giant inflatable chair has three seats and an open bottom to dip your toes in the water to cool down.

It also has three handy cup holders built in to store ice cold drinks, plus it comes with a repair patch in case of any punctures.

We reckon it’s perfect for lazing by the pool, and even better, this is the cheapest price we could find for the inflatable online.

Amazon is the selling the same one for a much pricier £24.97 although that’s still more even with free delivery.

AquaPlay Start Playset

  • Was: £24.99. Now: £19.99 – save £5 (20 per cent) – buy now

Make the most of your garden this summer with this AquaPlay Start Playset, which is the perfect way to keep kids cool and busy.

The 21-piece set includes a boat, amphibian truck and a figurine but be warned that it’s not for children under three as little ones could choke on the plastic parts.

At 68cm x 65cm it should squeeze into any garden, although if you’re playing inside you might want to put down a plastic sheet to protect the floor.

You could even fill the set with sand instead of water for dry play.

This is the best price we could find for the set online with similar versions selling on Amazon for more than twice the price at £42.50, while John Lewis and Very have similar versions for £29.50 and £29.99 respectively.

Argos, meanwhile, has a similar set for £23 but its version packs up into a portable trolley meaning it’s good for kids on the go.

But with Argos, if you’re ordering online it’ll cost from £3.95 for delivery unless you click and collect in store, which is free.

For more fun in the sun, we’ve rounded-up the cheapest paddling pools for your garden – whatever your budget.

If you want something bigger, Costco is selling a gigantic 20ft swimming pool with a ladder.

While B&M is selling 10ft and 6ft pools for just £1 but you’ll need to be quick.
