AC Milan have withdrawn from next season’s Europa League after Uefa’s Financial Fair Play ruling.

The Rossoneri will be replaced by Torino in the competition, with Roma moving directly into the group stage.

Milan and Uefa have reached a comproimse to prove the club’s intent to balance their books.

The move will allow Milan further time to become financially stable.

The announcement comes after a summer of upheaval at the San Siro, with Paolo Maldini’s promotion, Gennaro Gattuso and Leonardo’s departures and Marco Giampaolo’s arrival as the new manager.
