However, the star’s dreams were crushed when she was told that purchasing the property wasn’t a viable option for her at the time.
“He was like, ‘Laura, you can’t at the moment, to raise this money and do this etc’, and I was gutted, gutted.”
However, the TV host added that she believes the chalet purchase wasn’t meant to be, as she went on to buy her local village shop, Lord Roberts On The Green.
“Then Lord Roberts happened, and look where I’m at four years down the line, so that’s what I mean [when I say] things happen for a reason,” she divulged.
