JOSE MOURINHO hailed Dele Alli’s work ethic after his two-goal supershow in the 3-2 defeat of Bournemouth.
The new Tottenham boss first said he did not need to speak about man of the moment Dele — then sung his praises anyway.
Asked about Dele’s return to form, Mourinho said: “I couldn’t ask any more from him. He’s scoring, assisting, working, fantastic.
“Now he has lots of confidence to play.”
Moussa Sissoko’s name was sung by Spurs fans after his rare goal put them 3-0 up. Mourinho added: “It’s the best feeling for a player to have his fans with him.
“Amazing song, beautiful really and I was singing along . . . trying to!”
After closing the gap to six points on fourth-placed Chelsea, Mourinho added: “When I arrived, we were 12 points behind.
“I said if we think too much about it, we are going to get depressed. We are going into a period with lots of matches to put pressure on our opponents.”
