After the credits start rolling, fans are treated to a bonus scene which sees Columbus (played by Eisenberg) narrate his feelings of guilt about killing Murray in the first film.
A flashback then shows more of Murray’s story as fans are transported back to the beginning of the outbreak.
The Hollywood star is seen in a series of interviews with reporters to promote the fictional Garfield 3: Flabby Tabby.
Hilariously, he notes he only took the job on the sequel because “drugs cost money” — a clip which fans will already be familiar with because it is in the trailer.
The actor also says the movie bosses only wanted him in the film to pretend he had a hairball.
In one interview, however, the interviewer starts to turn into a zombie, prompting an epic killing-spree from Murray.
