Zack Snyder officially releasing the Justice League ‘Snyder Cut’ in 2021

Zack Snyder will officially release the 'Snyder Cut' of Justice League in 2021

After years of campaigning online, DC Comic fans will finally be getting their chances to watch the Synder Cut of 2017 film, Justice League.

Yep, director Zach Snyder has confirmed that his vision for the superhero movie will make it ways to fans in 2021.

Taking to Twitter to post a picture of his name, the Justice League logo and airing details, he wrote: ‘This is real.’

Not everyone will get to enjoy the project though, as it will be available exclusively on HBO Max.

In fact, the WarnerMedia digital streaming service – which launched on May 27 – will reportedly spend around $20 million for the director and his original postproduction crew to score, cut and finish visual effects for the project.

He may even bring back many of the actors to record additional dialogue for the project.

The movie famously had a last-minute change, replacing director Zack Snyder with Avengers writer and director Joss Whedon in post-production after Zack’s daughter Autumn died.

The film came out on 17 November 2017 and Ben Affleck starred alongside Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman and Henry Cavill, playing superman, among others.

The Hollywood Reporter claims the Snyder Cut could come in the form of either a four-hour director’s cut or in six TV-style ‘chapters’.

Speaking to THR, Zack explained: ‘It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie.’

Zack has never watched the final version released by Joss Whedon but he added: ‘You probably saw one-fourth of what I did.’

Can it be 2021 now, please?
