Cleaning makeup brushes can be an extremely messy job, but Scots beauty vlogger Jamie Genevieve has shared her top trick to make this a simple task and it’s an absolute game changer.
Over the years we’ve all been guilty of buying gimmick gadgets to try and make this chore a little bit easier but Jamie G has revealed that she uses a tool which you can find in your kitchen cupboard.
The 26-year-old told her 1.3million followers that she uses a baking sieve in the sink to get her brushes looking brand new.

She then shared a video of her washing her brushes with her handy hack and it works like an absolute dream. All you need is a sieve, a little bit of soap and water!
Jamie has a whole room dedicated to her makeup collection in her home in Glasgow and we couldn’t be anymore jealous!
Last month, Jamie was pictured in LA with pop icon Rihanna at the Fenty Beauty HQ where she was trying out the singers new ran ge of products.
Brought up in Tillicoutry, a young Jamie moved to Glasgow when she was 11 but is now a global superstar with almost 850,000 subcribers, more than 50 million views on YouTube, and even a BBC documentary under her belt.
The make-up artist learned her craft at a counter in a Glasgow Debenhams, and has said, despite her glitzy work trips abroad, she’s never happier than when she’s at home with Jack and their dogs.
