You need to see the #extra street style moments happening at Haute Couture fashion week in Paris right now

Looking to up your street style game?

Let’s face it, we’ve all spent so long wearing our comfiest sweaters and tracksuits over the last two years that even the very idea of a trouser sans elasticated waist brings us out in a cold sweat.

One quick glance at the immaculately chic, polished, perfectly refined Haute Couture collections being shown in Paris right now, therefore, feels like another world entirely.

But while even those of us with the strongest desire to *one day* wear real clothes again struggle to relate to the sartorial sensations storming the Parisian runways, there’s no denying the sense of sheer joy and escapism they provide – even if it is just from the other side of a laptop screen propped atop our loungewear-clad knees.

But it’s not just the catwalks that are serving up some serious #lewks this week. With Covid-19 restrictions having tentatively been relaxed in the capital, many of the industry’s best-loved street style stars have been making their way from show to show serving up a fashion feast to rival even the most major runways.

Whilst London‘s street style scene is known – and loved – for its eclectic eccentricity, New York‘s for its polished minimalism and Milan‘s for its rich visual extroversion, the pavements of Paris are widely-regarded as hosting some of the most high-end, statement street style moments each season – and this week’s offering certainly hasn’t disappointed.

Well it is Haute Couture week, after all…

Done with winter? These are the 14 fashion trends that will be *everywhere* as soon as spring hits

From extraordinarily tall platforms (SO many platforms) to full fuchsia looks, fuzzy sunglasses and metallic finger socks (if you come up with a better name for these please LMK), scroll down to see some of the most epic street style moments happening in Paris right now.

And if this doesn’t inspire you to change out of that loungewear, then quite frankly nothing will.
