You can actually eat at Los Pollos Hermanos ahead of Breaking Bad movie El Camino’s release

Breaking Bad superfans are in for a clucking good treat, as fictional restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos will be opening its doors to real life customers for the first time.

In celebration of the release of spin off movie El Camino: A Breaking Bad Story, which picks up seconds after the 2013 season finale ended, Gus Fring’s infamous chicken restaurant is being brought to life for Los Angeles fans.

TMZ reported that a pop up stand bearing the brand’s iconic logo had appeared in Venice Beach on Thursday, with a source telling the website that fans would be able to order food from the restaurant for delivery only from 24 October.

With the food apparently all coming in Los Pollos Hermanos branding, we suspect we’ll see this packaging appearing on eBay pretty soon. Just how long do you have to keep a greasy chicken wing box before it stops being gross and becomes a collector’s item, anyway?

According to the Instagram account linked on the stand, the restaurant will sell special fried chicken sandwiches and chips – although fingers crossed food will be the main focus and this isn’t some incredibly meta front for another meth empire…

El Camino sees Aaron Paul return as Jesse Pinkman, the sidekick of drug kingpin Walter White as he runs from the police in the wake of (six year old spoiler alert!) Walt’s implied death.

With more than ten characters from the original series returning for the one off movie event, including Mike Ehrmantraut, Skinny Pete and Badger, the trailer dropped earlier this week, leaving fans another level of excited to see the events unfold.

While the trailer gives little specific plot detailing away, many commenters online were convinced that Walt could be making a surprise return, after his ambiguous ending made it unclear as to whether he actually died.

In the trailer’s final scene, Jesse comes face to face with a mysterious figure who asks him: ‘You ready?’, with Jesse replying a simple: ‘Yeah.’

Could this be Walt himself? We’ll have to wait until October to find out.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is released on Netflix on Friday 11 October.
