Xbox Live DOWN: Server Status latest as Microsoft 0x87dd0006 error hits

Xbox Live is down tonight for many Xbox One users.

Reports are coming in of problems signing in to core console features, including the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Microsoft has confirmed issues logging into most Xbox game services tonight, via their Xbox Live Server Status website.

The new report from the company reveals that they have engineers looking into problems.

“We’ve caught your reports of sign-in errors on Xbox One and have sent this over to our engineering teams. We will update everyone here when we have information to share.

“We believe we have identified the issue causing some members to have problems signing in to Xbox Live. Thanks for your patience as the team works to resolve the issue,” the message from Microsoft reads.

We have no clear idea at this point what might have caused the outage or how long it might.

The good news is that the reports of Xbox Live issues are dropping, meaning that the overall issues might be closed to be fixed.

One affected user writes: “You can try to reset, but I wouldn’t reset your Xbox too much as it might ruin its brain. But I’d just let it work its magic; I only waited 20 minutes.”

Another post reads: “I Can’t log in from the PC app or Windows games, either.”

As confirmed by Microsoft earlier today, Xbox Live services are currently affected on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Microsoft PC and Windows 10.
