And the groups new band names were also revealed, with the girls called Real Like You, while the boys are named Unwritten Rule.
The bands each performed three songs they hoped would both impress the judges and secure the viewers vote.

Throughout the week, judges Simon and Nicole whittled down the hopefuls to just 12 contestants – six girls and six boys.
On Wednesday, the girl group was chosen and initially had five members – Kellimarie Willis, Luena Martinez, Seorsia Leagh Jack, Halle Williams and Jess Folley.
However, Nicole, 41, fought to bring back 17-year-old Virginia Hampson, bringing the number up to six.

With the change in group number, six boys were then picked on Friday’s show, the lucky singers were: Boaz Dopemu, Caius Duncombe, Fred Roberts, Harrison Cole, Jed Thomas and Reece Wilshire-Fessey.
The latest version of Simon’s X Factor format hasn’t been without it’s controversies, with judge Nicole slammed for upstaging contestant Robbie Monaghan on Saturday.
Viewers weren’t impressed as the American singer decided to turn Robbie’s performance of an acoustic version of The Pussycat Dolls’ hit Don’t Cha into a duet, especially when she sent the Irish singer home later in the show.
As the judges whittled down the boys to decide who would make the band, Robbie took to the stage to excitedly tell Nicole he was offering a new twist on one of the Pussycat Dolls’ most famous songs.

Breaking into the acoustic performance, the smiling hopeful left Nicole beaming with pride, and she eventually ran onto the stage to offer her own vocal talents, before sending him through to the next round.
Praising his performance, Nicole said: ‘You sounded super cool. You look even cooler than you did when we saw you last time.
‘I like that you did your own spin on the song. I couldn’t even join in. I just wanted to listen to you do it because you sounded so dope. I was really impressed by that performance – congratulations.’

While Robbie seemed thrilled that he got to duet with such a famous star, fans weren’t impressed as they claimed Nicole invaded the audition to make herself the centre of attention.
One tweeted: ‘OMG sit down Nicole it’s not all about you,’ while another added: ‘Nicole HAS to try and upstage everyone doesn’t she, beauty doesn’t mean class.’
A third wrote: ‘Nicole, it’s not about you, gal, let Robbie perform by himself. Go back, sit your a** down, and be a judge. You’re an attention seeker.’

Meanwhile, X Factor: The Band been struggling in the ratings, with the ITV show failing to draw in more viewers than a documentary about German supermarket Aldi on Wednesday night.
During the show, which is Simon Cowell’s second format change of the year to try and save the brand, just 1.65 million people tuned in.
While 1.74 million viewers watched Channel 5’s supermarket documentary called Inside: Aldi at Christmas.

The X Factor regularly drew in more than ten million viewers during its heyday when it launched the careers of Leona Lewis, One Direction and Little Mix.
But in recent years it has lost out to BBC One rival Strictly Come Dancing, which is also scheduled in a prime time Saturday night slot.
However it hasn’t all been bad news for Simon as earlier this week it was announced he signed a new five-year deal with ITV.
This included five series of Britain’s Got Talent and at least one more of The X Factor.
