X Factor Celebrity results: Who left X Factor Celebrity tonight?

Tonight’s episode was kicked off with a bang courtesy of Max and Harvey.

The pair, who are mentored by Simon Cowell, sang High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco.

All three judges praised the duo, with Nicole saying: “Your energy week after week is crazy – the sky is the limit for you two.”

Following Max and Harvey was an act from Louis Walsh’s Unders – Kevin McHale.

V5 had the crowd roaring with their rendition of Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

The girls received a standing ovation from the judges and crowd alike, with Nicole commenting: “Those girls got me feeling bang, bang!”

Louis also heaped on the praise, telling V5 they “deserve to be global posters.”

After V5 came footballer-turned-actor-turned-X Factor hopeful, Vinnie Jones.

Nicole described Megan as a “tough chick” who sounded “like an angel” for singing acapella – although the judge did say her performances felt a bit “same, same” for their tempo.

The penultimate celebrity act to perform was The Chase’s Jenny Ryan.

Jenny performed Euphoria by Swedish pop singer and Eurovision winner, Loreen.

The performance received a mixed reception from the judges, with Louis saying: “I didn’t love it but I liked it.”

Closing the show was Try Star, a group made up of current and former rugby players.

The rugby-playing trio brought the house down and pulses rising with their rendition of Boom by X Ambassadors.

All of the judges were more than impressed by the performance and Nicole said: “Seriously, that was one of my favourite performances.”

Once every act had performed, it was left to the public to vote for who they wanted to save.

Max and Harvey, Jenny Ryan, Try Star, Megan McKenna and V5 were the five acts who made it through to next week’s semi-finals.

This left Kevin McHale and Vinnie Jones at risk and having to perform in the sing-off to see who went home.

Before the judges could even make up their mind, Vinnie wanted to withdraw from the contest.

Nicole still saved Vinnie, Louis saved Kevin but Simon decided to save Vinnie, meaning Kevin went home.

Vinnie conceded that Simon was “the boss” and will return for the semi-finals next week.

X Factor Celebrity continues on Saturday on ITV.
