Megan bagged herself a record deal after receiving the highest number of votes from the public following her rendition of original song This.
She entered the final as the odds-on favourite to win and hadn’t once found herself in the bottom three during the competition.
Bookmakers Coral also correctly predicted girl band V5 as the outsiders.
Ahead of the final, Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Megan was 10-1 at the start of the series but punters quickly realised she was the one to beat and she was backed into the 3-1 favourite by mid October.
“She went odds on by the 5th of November and has just gone from strength to strength since. It would be a massive shock if she didn’t win and we expect her to get the job done in the final.”
