Dave Bautista has got new tattoos in the wake of George Floyd’s death as a constant reminder of the battle for justice.

The WWE superstar turned Hollywood actor isn’t shy of speaking out on social media, and he has now revealed fresh designs on his hands so he never forgets the battle he wants to keep fighting.

Sharing a back and white photo on Instagram, the 51-year-old star revealed the tats, with one saying ‘I can’t breath’, which were Floyd’s final words as a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck.

On his other hand, Bautista now has the words ‘We the people’ inked on his skin.

He captioned the powerful post: ‘Brothers and sisters! Be relentless in the pursuit of justice. Be unintimidated in the fight against oppression.

‘We’re here together to remind each other what we’re fighting for. I want to forget but I won’t let myself.

‘There’s too much at stake. Peace to everyone fighting for a dream. #OneNation #OneRace #DreamChasers #icantbreath #WeThePeople’

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor’s latest tattoos come after he publicly slammed SmackDown wrestler Jaxson Ryker for praising US President Donald Trump.

He tweeted earlier this month: ‘Thankful for the @POTUS we have! God bless America. Build of freedom. Forgotten No More’

Ryker’s tweet came as the president addressed reporters, promising military response and holding up a Bible in front of St John’s Church after armed soldiers used tear gas to disperse people from the area near the White House as they were peacefully protesting the death of George Floyd.

Bautista initially refused to comment when a fan brought the tweet to his attention, claiming he doesn’t ‘let ignorant motherf***ers get in [his] pocket’.

He later added: ‘I was talking about my peer who had the nerve to post that ignorant ass tweet.

‘Supporting a #fakepresident who is inciting violence and posing with Bibles like he’s a decent human being. Speaking the words of a dictator while people are being gassed in the streets.’

The actor – known to WWE fans simply as Batista – continued: ‘I’m just keeping him nameless because he’s a sorry ass motherf***er who I refuse to let ride my coattails.

‘He gets no love from me. He gets no rub from me. And if he would like to discuss it in person we have enough mutual acquaintances that he will be able to find me easily.’
