WoW Classic DOWN: Blizzard confirms server issues, Warcraft status latest


WoW Classic down reports are surging right now, with Blizzard confirming server issues for Warcraft fans today.

WoW Classic fans have reported experiencing server issues today, with players being hit with WoW Classic error code 51900102.

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has also received a surge of WoW Classic down reports and Blizzard down reports.

Out of those affected, some 92 per cent of WoW Classic players are experiencing login problems.

The Down Detector outage map says the WoW Classic issues are mainly affecting players in the UK and Europe.

The Blizzard CS EU Twitter account has confirmed the WoW Classic server issues.

They tweeted: “Some #WoW #WoWClassic players may be experiencing latency or disconnections. We are investigating this now.”

While WoW Classic players have also reported server problems on Twitter.

One posted: “@BlizzardCSEU_EN wow classic seems to be down just gets stuck in “logging into game server” followed by “you have been disconnected. (WOW51900102)”.

And another wrote: “Is WoW-Silvermoon EU down? @Warcraft @Blizzard_Ent”.

The news was revealed earlier this month as it was confirmed Dire Maul will have a separate release to the phase 2 content.

Speaking to PC Gamer, game director Ion Hazzikostas said: “I think it’s a matter of later this year, I think we can say definitively.

“Within that timeframe? It’s going to depend on a few factors.”
