Rihanna has been spotted splashing out with some retail therapy with boyfriend ASAP Rocky days after being made a national hero of Barbados.
The singer, 33, was pictured with boyfriend Rocky, real name Rakin Mayers, while strolling around the shops of New York City’s Soho area.
Looking as chic as ever dressed all in black with a pair of white sunglasses and red lipstick, Rihanna perused clothing and shoe stores with her rapper beau.
Rocky, also 33, was more casual in an Esso snapback, white-and-yellow T-shirt and a red sweater with a cat on it – now that’s good taste.
The loved-up couple were spotted holding hands as they walked down the streets of Soho and into shops, proving they’re no longer worried about packing on the PDA.
The pair are believed to have been dating for over a year but initially kept their relationship quiet.
Eventually Goldie hitmaker Rocky confirmed their relationship in an interview in May of this year where he said Rihanna was ‘the One’.
‘She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones’, he said, revealing that he is now ‘comfortable embracing monogamy’ thanks to his relationship with the pop star.
‘I think when you know, you know. She’s the One’, the rapper admitted.
Rocky has previously been romantically linked to Kendall Jenner, Chanel Iman and Iggy Azalea.
Elsewhere, Rihanna is said to have dated the likes of Drake, Chris Brown and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Rihanna recently made headlines around the world after she was made a national hero in Barbados.
The country has cut ties with the UK and removed Queen Elizabeth II as their head of state, becoming the world’s newest Republic.
Rihanna was spotted making Prince Charles laugh as he attended the presidential inauguration ceremony at Heroes Square, Bridgetown on Monday.
During the same ceremony, the singer was honoured as the country’s 11th National Hero for her achievement in entertainment and shining a positive light on Barbados globally.
Rihanna, who became an Ambassador of Barbados in 2018, was visibly moved by the moment and touched her chest while thanking those congratulating her nearby.
