Women disgusted by amount of 'c**p' on Pandora bracelets they thought were clean

If you or someone in your family happens to own a Pandora bracelet, or any kind of jewellery really, you might want to keep on reading this.

That’s because we’re going to let you in on a little secret.

No matter how clean and nice you think your bracelet is – it’s probably harbouring a lot of dirt and grime.

Yes, really.

So how do we know this? Well, last year a woman shared her easy method for cleaning her favourite piece of jewellery and the results sent many people into a frenzy.

The cleaning hack has recently resurfaced online and we think now is as good a time as any to give it a go for yourself.

Leave it in the water for a while

The cleaning hack was posted in the Facebook group We Love Mrs Hinch by an unnamed woman.

She revealed that in order to get all the dirt off her bracelet, she poured hot water from the kettle into a bowl and mixed it with a big squirt washing up liquid.

The woman then placed her charm bracelet straight into the bowl and left it to soak for about five minutes.

“Decided to try the washing up liquid with hot kettle water to clean my Pandora,” she wrote.

“The c**p that has come off is crazy. All that black is off my charms.”

You can see dirt coming off in the water

Alongside this she shared several photos of before and after and they showed lots of dirt lying on the bottom of the bowl around the bracelet.

Her post quickly garnered a lot of attention, getting more than 300 comments and over 240 likes.

Many people were disgusted by the amount of grime on the bracelet and vowed to go and wash their own right away.

“I definitely need to do this,” said one.

Another replied: “Doing it right now.”

“Hopefully this works,” commented a third. “Mine has gone all tarnished and looks awful.”

A fourth user, who had already tried the cleaning hack for themselves, added that you can also scrub at jewellery with an old toothbrush, adding that “it’s great for rings with gemstones and brings them up lovely”.
