There are few things we love more here at GLAMOUR HQ than a multitasking beauty product. From highlighter hybrids to lip and cheek tints, two-one-one makeup is frequently the saviour of our handbags when we’re on the move.
When news of a fake tan with impressive skin-clearing properties popped up on our radar, then, we sat up and took note. A sunkissed tan AND radiant skin? Sold.
The fake tan in question is the Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pad Self Tanner, a single step, pre-soaked towelette, which builds a natural-looking glow over the course of 3-4 hours.
These aren’t ordinary fake tan pads, though. As any seasoned tan lover will know, achieving a golden glow can often come at the cost of clear skin. Dr Gross’ glow pads, however, are formulated with a blend of super-powered ingredients designed to clear the complexion, such as willow bark extract, which help to keep pores clear while dissolving dead skin cells.
There’s also a clever ‘Alpha Beta’ formula of hardworking acids like glycolic and hyaluronic to improve hydration and reduce fine lines, as well as lactic acid, which helps to speed up cell renewal.
The pads, which currently cost £34 on Cult Beauty, contain 20 streak-free towels, meaning the days of streaky application are well and truly over.
