Woman sneakily changes mum's autocorrect – and cat sitter gets very rude text

It’s no secret that many of our parents are a little clueless when it comes to technology.

So one woman decided to take advantage of this and play a little prank on her mum and what ensued was downright hilarious.

Actress Nicola Thorp is currently on holiday with her mum and while away, she got the idea to sneakily mess around with the autocorrect on her mother’s phone.

She added a number of text replacement words, so every time her 61-year-old mum went to write an innocent message, she’d end up sending something very, very rude instead.

For instance, she made it so that every time her mum typed the word ‘Hi’, it was autocorrected to say ‘F*** off”.

And as a result of the changes, the poor cat sitter ended up getting an especially shocking string of texts.

Some of the texts were very rude

Nicola shared a screenshot of her mother’s messages to the cat sitter on Twitter .

She captioned the post, writing: “I changed my mum’s autocorrect whilst we’re on holiday in Germany. She just texted this to the cat-sitter.”

In the photo, the mum has sent a series of Whatsapp messages to someone, which say things such as “the sex dungeons of Cologne” and “B**** t**s here”.

And things only got worse from there, as the next series of messages the woman sends are even more explicit.

They say things like “f*** off” and “will you clean c***y b******s cat litter.”

Shortly after sending these, her mum noticed things weren’t quire right and quickly tried to explain the mix up, through exclamations of horror.

“Nooo. I did not write it. Something wrong with texts,” she said.

She also asks “will you though” after this, presumably referring to the part about cleaning the cat litter.

Bizarre news from Mirror Online

More than 5,000 people have liked the tweet, with hundreds retweeting it, saying how they found the whole thing hysterical.

One person commented: “I cant stop laughing.”

Another said: “Amazing! It’s not often I laugh until I wheeze in the mornings but this had me crying.”

A third added: “You absolute monster! This is glorious.”

Nicola later posted another screenshot of her mum’s phone, this time of a different conversation, containing more autocorrects.

She said: “I told her I’d changed it back…”

Looks like these phone shenanigans could go on for some time…
