We’ve all been there: You really want to talk to your significant other, but for whatever reason they’re just not responding to your texts.
Rude.
So, what do you do about? Wait for them to get back to you later or take action to really grab their attention?
One woman decided to do the latter after having a bit of a falling out with her boyfriend.
Lily Jade Straw from Doncaster got fed up of waiting for her partner to message of his own accord, so she came up with a hilarious idea that would force him to talk to her.

The 19-year-old decided to take “drastic action” and prank her boyfriend by telling him that she had been picked to go on the new series of Love Island.
And the best part is that he totally fell for it.
In a joke text to him, she wrote: “Just to let u know I’ve been asked to go on Love Island and I’ve decided to go take the opportunity.
“I wanted to tell u today but after Saturday I won’t be able to talk to u as I’m going into lockdown.”
She added: “It was nice knowing you.”
Understandably, her boyfriend was very confused about the whole thing and immediately tried to call her to find out what was going on.
He then replied: “Answer the phone now.”
Lily later posted a screenshot of the text conversation on Twitter , writing: “When ur boyfriend doesn’t reply for a while drastic actions are the only option.”
Her tweet quickly went viral, garnering over 16,000 likes and more than 1,400 retweets as many people found it funny and relatable.
One person replied: “Hahahahah that’s so funny.”
“He soon answered,” commented a second.
Someone else added: “Why did I not think of this?!”
“HAAHAHAHA he was not impressed,” wrote a fourth.
