Woman, 27, who has never kissed anyone wants others to know they're not alone

A 27-year-old woman has been heaped in praise after confessing she has never dated, kissed or been physical with anyone in her life.

Emily Rose decided to open up about her experience to let other people in her situation know that she exists and they are not alone.

“I’m 27 years old and I’ve never dated anybody, I’ve never kissed anybody. I’ve never been physical in any way shape or form with the opposite sex and I am attracted to men,” she said in a now viral TikTok video. “Not even come close… ever. Not once.”

Emily, who was inspired to make the video after seeing another woman who was around her age saying the same thing, said: “I just wanted to say it because I thought honestly, there’s not many of us that I know of.”

“And I’d love to know more. So if there any more men or women out there who are near this age and it’s just bizarre to the world, I’d love to know if you exist,” she added. “And I want to let you know that I exist and that we’re not alone!”

Since making the brave confession, Emily’s video has been liked almost 250,000 times and she’s been inundated with comments from people with similar experiences.

“I teared up watching this, I’m 27 and I’m the exact same. I always felt like there was something wrong with me until I saw people making these videos,” one woman commented.

Another added: “I got my first boyfriend at 33 and I’m getting married in a month. I kept waiting for a guy who wanted to get to know me and I finally found him!”

A third TikTok user commented: “I’m embarrassed but empowered to the same. 33 here and same, glad to know I’m not alone,” while another added: “I was 28. No religious reason, it just never happened. Met my now husband through mutual friends and he also hadn’t had the opportunity. Happily married.”
