Khalifa has been in MMA training for the past few years, seen training with Fox sportscaster Jay Glazer in a video that surfaced in 2017.

Then in 2018, Khalifa was caught at LAX airport by TMZ, who mentioned that Glazer was raving about his skills and said that he could go pro.

While Khalifa agreed that he could go pro if he wanted to, he said that he, ‘likes rapping better.’

‘Their fights are fun to watch, but you’ve got to pay me a whole bunch of money to get me to fight, man,’ he added.

‘That’s why I just train… I train with the best. All the trainers show me the best s**t, all the fighters show me hella love, so it’s just fun, man,’ he added.

The injury is so serious Khalifa appears to need surgery to fix it, since a fan commented on Hot 104.7’s Instagram, ‘Dude can’t sing because his foot hurts,’ while the radio station responded, ‘surgery sucks.’

Khalifa hasn’t revealed exactly how he plans to make up missing the show to his fans, or how long he’ll be recovering from this injury for.
