Willian Refuses Chelsea, PSG Is Getting Ready to Hunt Kepa

There has long been uncertainty about Willian’s future in Chelsea, and as things currently stand, the Brazilian may be counting perhaps the last days at Stamford Bridge. After discovering that Chelsea has once again broken the strict club rules and placed a contract for two years and subsequent statements by an experienced winger that there is no option of further negotiations in the same offer, it is increasingly likely that the two sides will split up after the season ends and start their own way. Despite the club’s request, the Brazilian has sought a three-year contract, which Chelsea is not ready to fulfill, and the talks are almost deadlocked. That is, there is only one option – for Willian to go and find a new engagement, which, comparing to the difficulties in negotiations about expending a contract, it seems as easy as playing the best free games.

Such a turn-out recently announced the renowned Brazilian site UOL, which claims that Willian has already begun to consider other options and send them a message – ImLive. And, not that there are no interested clubs. Willian intends to stay in the Old Continent and even to consider the options of some clubs from the UK if there are any. Recall that Willian had long been in contact with Barcelona, which even tried to hire him on the last day of the winter transfer window, but Chelsea refused to agree to a € 23,500,000 compensation and demanded much more.

In addition to Barcelona, Willian has been associated with Juventus for months, but also with Manchester United in the José Mourinho era. That is why in England has been circulating a story in past weeks that Tottenham is the favorite for Willian’s signature in case Chelsea and he do not agree on an extension of cooperation. Willian, lets recall, was one of Mourinho’s favorites while working together in Chelsea, and it was he who insisted on bringing him at the end of the summer 2013 transfer window when he “abducted” him from Tottenham right in front of their nose. Together they won the last league title at Stamford Bridge.

However, in Brazil, they announce that nothing is yet final in the negotiations between Chelsea and Willian, but that only a miracle could resolve the situation in a positive direction. After leaving of Eden Hazard, Willian and N’Golo Kanté have practically remained the only two real stars in the team.

Chelsea, on the other hand, seems to have found a buyer for Kepa Arrizabalaga, whose sale for serious money would be something like a free adult games considering everything which this goalkeeper has done since he came to Stamford Bridge. Namely, as a serious option appeared PSG, which wants to make the Spaniard a successor to Keylor Navas. The former Real Madrid goalkeeper has begun to reach his age, although he performs very well in his first season in Paris. Kepa, though, would be someone who could potentially solve one of the Saints’ most significant problems years back for a long time. PSG are reportedly ready to spend around € 60,000,000 for the young keeper, even though he is performing very poorly this season and is the weakest Premier League goalkeeper in the percentage of defending shots of opponents. He recently moved to the substitution bench and was replaced at the goal by Willy Caballero, who will certainly not be the solution for next season, which made possible an option for Kepa’s departure and signing Jan Oblak from Atlético Madrid. Chelsea even offered Rojiblancos 30,000,000 euros and Kepa for Oblak, but the response at the Madrid club did not like the offer and are asking for 120,000,000 euros, which is the worth of his buyout clause. That is something which Chelsea probably won’t pay.

A sum of 60,000,000 euros for Kepa would be a premium in this situation, but… The Spaniard had an excellent performance in the Round of 16 of FA Cup against Liverpool and received high praise from the public for his credit for Chelsea’s victory. Kepa could thus begin to buy Frank Lampard’s new trust, which has completely disappeared in recent weeks, though the legendary Blues midfielder denies that there is a conflict of any kind between them. If he would continue to perform well regularly, a turnaround might also occur here. Kepa knows what to do, Lampard told him recently, so it’s all up to him.
