A Los Angeles property owned by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith was reportedly struck by a fire that caused smoke damage.

According to Page Six, fire trucks and an ambulance were seen going to the $42million (£30m) home in Malibu on Monday.

A spokesperson for LA County Fire confirmed on Tuesday that there had been a ‘structure fire’ that caused ‘smoke damage’ at the address.

The publication reports that video footage from the Calabasas estate saw an ambulance with flashing lights entering just after 3:30p.m., followed by several cars including an ambulance, and a utility vehicle.

It was not clear exactly where the fire had been on the 150-acre property, however, it was out by the time crews arrived.

Despite the presence of an ambulance, there were no injuries, the fire official told Page Six.

The 42-year-old actor lives at the huge compound with his wife, who just celebrated her 50th birthday over the weekend with a star-studded roller skating party.

Their son Jaden, 23, lives nearby at the couple’s Hidden Hills home. Meanwhile, their daughter Willow, 20, has an oceanfront property in Malibu.

Will and Jada built the huge estate in 2003 after purchasing several neighboring properties. It took seven years to complete the project, which spans 25,000 square feet of living space.

They listed the nine-bedroom home in 2013, before eventually deciding to keep it.

Back in 2018, the actor had been forced to evacuate the proper when it came under threat from the Woolsey wildfire.
