Wigan have confirmed that England international backs Dan Sarginson and George Williams will leave the Super League club at the end of the season.
Stand-off Williams, 24, is to head down under to join an unnamed NRL side, with whom an undisclosed fee is agreed.
Australia-born English-bred utility back Sarginson, 26, has been linked with a move to Salford.
Meanwhile, Salford half-back Jackson Hastings, 23, will join Wigan at the end of the season, on a two-year deal.
Australian Hastings, who joined Salford from Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2018, has an NRL release clause in his contract at the end of the second year.
“In Jackson Hastings, we have secured the services of one of the most sought-after talents in the game,” said Wigan executive director Kris Radlinski. “We have fought off interest from around Super League and in the NRL,”
Both Williams and Sarginson, who has scored 36 Super League tries in two spells at the club either side of his year at Gold Coast Titans, have won two Grand Finals with Wigan, in 2016 and 2018.
“It has been a very special five years of my life playing for Wigan,” said Sarginson, who began his career with amateur club Hemel Hempstead, then spent three years at London Broncos before he first joined Wigan alongside Tony Clubb in 2014.
“The club has pushed me to achieve things I never thought I could achieve.
Williams has played 172 times for his hometown club, who have first refusal on him should he return to Super League, just as they did with Sarginson, when he left Warriors for the first time in 2017.
“Another dream of mine was always to play and to test myself in the NRL,” said Williams.
“I want to thank chairman Ian Lenagan and Kris Radlinski for their understanding in allowing me to do this.
Wigan currently stand fourth in Super League, before Friday’s trip to leaders St Helens, still hopeful of a Top Five spot this season and another potential Grand Final after a faltering start to the campaign.
