Arsenal left Mesut Ozil out of their squad to take on Burnley due to illness and not recent security threats.
Ozil and team-mate Sead Kolasinac were left out of their travelling party for their Premier League opener at Newcastle last weekend.
It came after they were involved in a car-jacking incident outside Ozil’s London home and were the victims of “further security incidents”.
But Ozil’s absence against Burnley was due to him not being deemed “match fit” after he missed a training session this week due to illness.
Kolasinac was included on the bench for their first home game of the campaign.

Emery gave an update on their pair at his press conference on Thursday, insisting they are “100% ready” but revealing Ozil’s illness doubts.
“They are 100% ready to play,” insisted the Gunners boss. “Their mentality is 100% focused on us.
“They have their minds here. I want to help them with normality with us, with the focus on training and each match. Of course I am pleased they are back. First as a person, after as a player.

“They came back training with us on Tuesday. We had off but they came to train with us. Mesut was a bit sick so he didn’t train yesterday but he trained today.
“Each day gives us more information whether they will play Saturday. We will wait till tomorrow to decide if they play.
“When they are training and consistent every day, we can choose them and that is good for us.”

David Luiz was handed his debut by Unai Emery whilst Alexandre Lacazette was recalled after an ankle injury and Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos came in for Granit Xhaka, who has back and leg bruising.
Signed on transfer deadline day from rival Chelsea , Luiz was an unused substitute in the 1-0 win at Newcastle but replaced Callum Chambers in the Gunners defence for their first home game of the campaign, with club-record signing Nicolas Pepe once again named on the bench.
Unsurprisingly, Burnley boss Sean Dyche kept faith in the starting XI that beat Southampton 3-0 on the opening day of the season as the Clarets look to end a nine-match losing streak against Arsenal .
