Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in returning to the Premier League as he continues to be linked with London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham.

Legendary manager Mourinho has been out of management since December 2018 when he was sacked by Manchester United.

The Portuguese boss won the Europa League and EFL Cup during his turbulent spell at Old Trafford but failed to replicate the success he enjoyed at Chelsea.

Over two stints at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho bagged three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and three EFL Cups.

And the chance to become the first manager to win major trophies at three different English clubs is enticing Mourinho back to the Premier League, according to The Sun.

Mourinho has often spoken of his passion for English football and has covered a number of Premier League fixtures this season as a pundit for Sky Sports.

Tottenham have endured a shocking start to the season, losing four of their ten league fixtures to slip to 11th in the table, and suffered an embarrassing defeat to League One side Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with both Manchester United and Real Madrid and Tottenham could turn to proven manager Mourinho if the Argentine leaves north London.

Unai Emery is also under huge pressure at the Emirates, with Arsenal winning just one of their last four league games and showing little signs of improvements since Arsene Wenger’s departure.

Emery is expected to be given the season to turn things around but if the Gunners continue to lose ground on the top four the Arsenal board may decide for a change.

Arsenal squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace on Sunday and face in-form Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Spurs, meanwhile, will look to kick-start their season on Sunday when they travel to Goodison Park to face struggling Everton.
