You may have noticed something a little different in the mornings if you’re a regular Radio 2 listener over the last two weeks; particularly if you normally listen to Zoe Ball’s breakfast show.
The presenter has been off since last Monday, so it’s been Fearne Cotton’s job to wake us all up with chat and tunes.
While Fearne is a great stand-in, you might want to know where Zoe is, and when she will be back.
Where is Zoe Ball?
Zoe was announced at the first female host of the Radio 2 Breakfast show in October last year and has been doing a fab job ever since taking over from Chris Evans.
She’s been off since 18 March on some well-deserved annual leave, with the BBC confirming that she’s getting some well deserved lie-ins.
Morning! ?
While @zoetheball enjoys some well-earned lie-ins, @fearnecotton is taking care of the Breakfast Show for the next two weeks.Jessica Hynes (@JefficaHoons) is joining us after 8am to chat about her new film The Fight!

When will she be back?
Fearne’s last day on the show will be Friday 29 March, and Zoe will be back on the airwaves Monday 1 April.
Fearne is Zoe’s official stand-in on the show, with Matt Lucas doing the job on Bank Holidays.
Some fans have expressed annoyance at the fact Zoe is already off after her show only starting on 14 January. But remember, folks, we’re all only human and need a little holiday once in a while.
Especially when the starts are as early as theirs!
