Why did Susanna and Steve split?

A source close to Susanna and Steve had told Daily Mail over the weekend that their relationship downfall mainly stemmed from the fact that they didn’t have the time to make it work.

“It’s very sad, but they just couldn’t make it work. They both work extremely hard and there wasn’t enough time for romance.”

Seeing that both of their schedules had prevented them from spending quality time together, it evidently seemed like the best option to call it quits and remain friendly with one another.

And that’s exactly what they’ve done.

What has Susanna said about the split?

During Monday’s taping of Good Morning Britain, Susanna seemed somewhat forced to address her split on national television after being quipped by co-host Piers Morgan that his co-host was back on the market.

Morgan, who had returned to the ITV show on Monday following some time off, wasted no time in quizzing Susanna about her split.

After having confirmed that she was no longer together with Parish, Piers enquired: “Are you single again? You are aren’t you?”

“Yep. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends,” Susanna replied. “We were at the match on Saturday.”

Reid wasn’t lying either.

On Saturday, she was spotted watching Crystal Palace play a Premier League game, showing clear signs that there’s absolutely no bad blood between the former couple.

If anything, they have managed to remain friends even after having parted ways from one another.

The mother-of-two clapped back at Morgan after she humorously spoke about Arsenal losing their match over the weekend: “You had an interesting match over the weekend. In fact, you’ve had three.”

Susanna’s romance with Steve had first come to light in November, just weeks after the 48-year-old had made it known that she was finally ready to settle down and fall in love again.

Their romance wasn’t officially addressed until December, and though the couple has officially parted ways from one another, sources say the two remain on good terms.

At least good enough to catch a football game on the weekend together.
