Lil Durk fans have taken to social media to voice their disappointment after the American rapper’s upcoming UK tour dates, which included shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester, were cancelled.
The news of the cancelled shows broke today after the venues due to host the artist announced via Twitter that the performances would no longer go ahead.
Lil Durk, real name Durk Derrick Banks, was due to play five UK dates as part of his tour and tickets for his shows at venues such as London’s Troxy and O2 Academy Brixton sold quickly after their release.
Why are the Lil Durk’s uk tour dates cancelled?
The venues where Lil Durk was due to perform took to Twitter today to announce that ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’ the rapper’s shows had been cancelled.
As well as his London shows’ Lil Durk was also due to play at the O2 Institute in Birmingham and the Manchester Academy this weekend.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lil Durk’s performances at Troxy on 1st and 3rd Feb have been cancelled.

Lil Durk himself has remained silent on the matter so far, with no official explanation for the cancelled shows offered on his social media accounts.
Fans of the rapper have claimed on social media that Lil Durk’s UK shows have been cancelled because he was refused entry into the country.
Lil Durk was refused entry in to the UK by immigration. All concerts are cancelled.

They claim that he has not been allowed into the UK because the American star is currently facing charges in connection with a shooting in Atlanta that took place in February 2019.

In June last year, a judge granted Lil Durk bond after he turned himself in to authorities in May 2019, after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Durk Derrick Banks has denied being directly involved in the incident, according to TMZ.
