Louis Walsh might be on the receiving end of Little Mix’s Black Magic if he’s not careful.

Comments made on The X Factor: Celebrity by the judge caused uproar from Little Mix fans online.

But what’s got the Little Mix fans so annoyed?

Here’s what you need to know.

What did Louis Walsh say about Little Mix?

Technically, nothing.

But a comment made about girl-band V5 performing on The X Factor: Celebrity was picked up as subtle shade.

V5 wowed judges with their performance, which prompted Louis to say that ‘the world needs a new girl group.’

But he didn’t stop there.

He also said ‘there are no current girl groups that can all sing.’ The first comment might’ve been innocent enough, the second… well, the fans had their say online.

This isn’t the only girl band drama Louis has had – he recently reignited a feud with former Girls Aloud and X Factor judge Cheryl.

Who are V5?

As well as being the girl group the world needs, apparently, V5 are a newly-formed group who came together for The X Factor: Celebrity.

Made up of social media influencers Sofia Oliveria, Alondra Martinez, Laura Buitrago, Natalie Valerin and Wendii, the group has a combined social media following of 11 million, and over 250 million channel views on YouTube.

They aren’t taking their shot at musical stardom lightly, though.

Group member Wendii has said she ‘always had a passion for music ever since [she] was a little girl.’

She ‘started taking it more seriously at the age of 11 when [she] did [her] first stage performance at a show called ‘La Voz Kids’ from there on out [she] knew for sure [she] wanted to be an artist.’

Who went through to the live shows on X Factor Celebrity?

Could V5 be the next Little Mix, like Louis seems to think?

Well, they’re one step closer as they made it through to the live rounds of the competition.
