With Mike and Priscilla now booted off the show, the stage is set for the final of the first series of Winter Love Island.

Four couples remain ahead of the final tomorrow night, but
what happened to the winners of last year’s Love Island?

Who were crowned King and Queen of the Island and are they
still together? Read on to find out…

Who won Love Island 2019?

Greg O’Shea and Amber
Gill
were crowned
the winners of Love Island
last year.

They came out on top, beating out Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury who came second, despite the fact that Molly-Mae and Tommy were together for far longer on the show.

Ovie and India came in third, with Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins coming fourth.

However, Greg and Amber split just five weeks after taking home the crown – and splitting the £50,000 cash prize.

Only Maura and Curtis and Molly-Mae and Tommy have stayed together after the show.

Why did Greg and Amber break up?

There was never any official word on exactly why the pair split, but it was thought Greg living in Ireland and Amber in England proved too difficult.

Speaking of the breakup, Greg told Ryan Tubrdgy’s Radio One
Show: ‘I’m not going to badmouth [Amber], she’s got great stuff going on, and I
can be happy with myself, my friends, and my family knowing what actually
happened.

‘She can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best – she’s a great woman.’

He was seemingly alluding to the claims that he dumped Amber over text – something he has denied.

Things weren’t all bad for the couple after heading their separate ways though.

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, Amber said: ‘I think in the future I’ll look back on this as a blessing in disguise. I can focus on work and spending time with my family and friends.’

Amber went on to win the respect of plenty of people online after getting vocal about voting in last year’s general election and has been linked to Chelsea footballer Fikayo Tomori.

She also signed a whopping £1 million contract to become the new face of Miss Pap.

Meanwhile Greg was named in Ireland’s rugby squad for the World Sevens Series.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on itv2.
