It will soon be time for the British public to vote in a general election to decide the political future of the country.

Following further deadlock over how to approach the critical issue of Brexit , MPs in the House of Commons have backed a general election on December 12 to allow people to vote on what comes next.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson leads the Conservative Party in the hopes of increasing their power in Westminster, facing the likes of the Leader of the Opposition and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn , and Liberal Democrats leader Jo Swinson.

There will also be campaigns from the likes of the Scottish National Party, Plaid Cymru, the Brexit Party, the DUP, Sinn Fein, and the Green Party.

But who is predicted to come out on top?

Who will win the 2019 general election?

The latest odds from bookmakers William Hill show a 5/6 chance of a Conservative majority, with an evens chance of No Overall majority, followed by a Labour majority at 16/1.

Meanwhile, a Liberal Democrat majority sits at 50/1 and a Brexit Party majority sits at 66/1.

In terms of the most seats, they have Conservatives at 1/7, Labour at 5/1, Liberal Democrats at 20/1, Brexit Party at 33/1, Greens at 250/1, Change UK at 500/1, and UKIP at 500/1.

Meanwhile, bookmakers Coral have odds on the most seats going to the Conservatives at 1/6, followed by Labour at 5/1, then the Liberal Democrats at 25/1, The Brexit Party at 50/1, and the Green Party at 250/1.

In terms of an overall majority, they have a Conservative majority to be most likely at 10/11, followed closely by No Overall majority at 11/10, Labour majority at 16/1, Liberal Democrats majority at 50/1, and the Brexit Party majority at 100/1.

Alternatively, Ladbrokes also have the Conservatives set for the most seats at 1/6, with Labour at 5/1, the Liberal Democrats at 25/1, the Brexit Party at 50/1, and the Green Party at 250/1.

They have a Conservative majority most likely at 10/11, followed by No Overall majority at 11/10, a Labour majority at 16/1, a Liberal Democrat majority at 50/1, and a Brexit Party majority at 100/1.
