Who was eliminated from Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions last night?


BRITAIN’S Got Talent: The Champions aired its last round of heats LAST NIGHT, before the grand finale show.

We take you through the full line-up from episode five of the show and who has made it through to the final.

Who was eliminated and who are through to the final on BGT: The Champions episode five?

Twist and Pulse – Gold Buzzer Act

Twist and Pulse are a dance duo from London who came runners-up in the fourth series of BGT in 2010.

The act is comprised of Ashley Glazebrook aka Twist and Glen Murphy aka Pulse.

Bars and Melody – Week 5 winner

Leondre Devries, 18, and Charlie Lenehan, 20, formed in 2014, but grew in popularity when they appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.

The song Hopeful, which they performed on the show, went on to be the band’s first chart success, peaking at number five in the UK Singles Chart.

Since the release of that single Bars and Melody have produced three albums titled 143, Teen Spirit and Generation Z, which has achieved platinum status in Poland and was Top 5 in Poland, the UK and Japan.

Album 143 hit No4 on the UK Album Charts.

The band is touring the UK in 2019, stopping in cities including London, Manchester and Newcastle.

DMX is a dance troupe, who competed on Pilipinas Got Talent and were confirmed for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in August 2019.

On the official Facebook page the group was described as the “fiercest”, which was followed by a video of them performing an energetic dance routine.

Collabro appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 and at the time the group had only been together one month when they decided to audition as they “had nothing to lose”.

They received a standing ovation from the judges after their performance of Stars from Les Misérables.

After, Simon Cowell declared that “Britain has really got talent,” the group got a unanimous four yeses.

Collabro sailed through the semi-finals, winning over 62.3 per cent of the public vote for their performance of Bring Him Home.

During the live final on June 7, Collabro won the competition after garnering 26.5 per cent of the public vote.

In 2016, Richard famously left the band after claims of a feud with band mates Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan, Michael Auger and Thomas J Redgrave

Daliso Chaponda – Eliminated

Daliso Chaponda is a 39-year-old stand-up comedian from Manchester and is originally from Malawi.

The funny man had the audience in stitches on Britain’s Got Talent 2017, with Amanda awarding him the prestigious Golden Buzzer.

During the semi-final stage he beat off stiff competition from Jamie Lee Harrison and Lords of Strut to secure a place in the final.

Alexandr ‘Alex’ Magala – Eliminated

The sword swallower and acrobat appeared on season eight of America’s Got Talent but he was eliminated in the quarter finals.

He then returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, however, he was eliminated in the preliminaries.

Alex, who is from Moldova, is also an experienced aerialist and pole dancer.

Gennady Tkachenko – Eliminated

Gennady Tkachenko is a vocalist who has competed on both the Georgian and Ukrainian versions of Got Talent.

Much of his performance consists of him making nature sounds like birds chirping, flying and water sounds with his mouth.

While a contestant on JayGT: Fantasy Island, Gennady received the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Usagi, sending him straight through to the quarter finals.

Ben Hart – Eliminated

Ben came third in the 13th series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2019.

He first auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent on May 11, 2019, where he wowed the judges with his disappearing act and got four yeses from the judges.

He stormed his way through the semi-final and received the most public votes, winning him a place in the grand final on June 2, 2019.

In 2014, Ben wrote and starred in Killer Magic on BBC Three which was awarded Best Non-Competitive Reality Show at the National Reality Television Awards.

Then in 2016, Ben starred in Ben Hart’s Life Hacks also on BBC Three, the first episode of which was directed by Matt Edmondson

He also had a regular slot on BBC One show Now You See It which was hosted by Mel Giedroyc.

Vicki Barbolak – Eliminated

The comedian performed on America’s Got Talent in 2018 and transformed the finale into a swimsuit contest.

She has performed stand-up for 20 years and wowed the judges – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel – with her act in September, 2018.

Vicki began comedy after stumbling across an ad for a stand-up class, which she attended.
