One of the biggest nights in the musical calendar is among us, as the Brit Awards 2020 take place on Tuesday night.

And this year’s set to be a special one, as the prestigious awards ceremony celebrates its 40th anniversary at London’s O2 Arena – with Jack Whitehall once again hosting and a line-up that’s teeming with big names.

The night will also see awards handed out in categories from group of the year and song of the year through to best male and female solo artists and the coveted Mastercard album of the year.

But just who’ll be performing at the ceremony? Here’s who you can look forward to seeing…

This year’s line-up will see Billie Eilish, Celeste, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel and Stormzy all take to the stage on the night.

Lizzo and Mercury Prize-winning rapper Dave will also be performing.

The night’s set to be an exciting one for Billie Eilish fans, after she confirmed she would be performing her Bond theme No Time To Die for the first time at the ceremony.

A message shared from the 18-year-old’s Twitter account announced: ‘Billie’s premiere performance of No Time To Die will be at the 2020 #BRITs on 2/18.

‘The performance will be live on ITV in the UK and livestreamed on YouTube everywhere else in the world.’

Fellow performer Lewis Capaldi has since given the track his seal of approval – jokingly saying that he wouldn’t mind taking ‘a cut’ of its royalties.

Who is nominated for a Brit Award this year?

This year there are only nine categories (Picture: PA)

Lewis Capaldi and Dave are leading the nominations this year with four apiece.

Both performers are up for best male solo artist, best new artist, song of the year and the Mastercard album of the year.

This year’s ceremony will be slightly different from previous years with organisers promising more music and fewer acceptance speeches.

They have eliminated several categories, such as British artist, video of the year and international group, and have dropped two of the special achievement awards (global success reward and outstanding contribution to music).

It all kicks off on ITV from 8pm.
