Who is in the cast of Bad Boys For Life and what is its rating?

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have finally reunited in the sequel we never knew we needed as Bad Boys For Life hits the big screen.

Set 17 years after the previous instalment in the franchise, the film follows Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) attempt to get a rein on life as they approach retirement.

With Burnett now a police inspector and Lowrey in the midst of a mid-life crisis, the bad boys of the Miami PD agree to join forces for one last time before going their separate ways.

And the mission is a big one, as the pair focus their efforts on cracking a big drug cartel. Joined by the elite AMMO team, which uses high-tech tactics to bring down criminals, Burnett and Lowrey find themselves struggling to keep up with the younger squad.

The synopsis reads: ‘Bad Boys For Life follows Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio), head of a drug cartel.

‘Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. He is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike.’

Who is in the cast of Bad Boys For Life?

Smith and Lawrence are joined by High School Musical alumnus Vanessa Hudgens, and Vikings’ Alexander Ludwig as members of the new police squad.

Meanwhile drug baron Armando Armas is played by Jacob Scipio.

Other cast members include Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Theresa Randle and Joe Pantoliano.

What is Bad Boys For Life rating?

Bad Boys For Life is rated a 15 for strong bloody violence, language and crude humour.

The film is in UK cinemas now and tickets can be booked at all major cinema chains, including Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase.
