Anthea Turner has announced her engagement to her new partner five months after they started dating.
The TV presenter said she was ‘bursting with happiness’ admitting fiance Mark Armstrong had ‘taken [her] breath away’.
Sharing the news on social media, she wrote: ‘When you know, you know….. Mr A you’ve taken my breath away, love you so much bursting with happiness.
‘You’re a total unique bag of thoughts, passion, emotion and love.’
Where did Anthea Turner meet fiancé Mark Armstrong?
Anthea met businessman Mark – who’s said to be several years younger than her – at a private member’s club in March.
They came out as a couple two weeks ago, with a close friend saying the pair were ‘smitten’ with each other.
They told The Sun: ‘Anthea has had a rocky few years, and had almost giving up on finding love again.
‘But she met Mark at London’s Wellington club and they hit it off straight away.
‘He fancied her straight away and they swapped details – Mark immediately asked her out, and it went from there.’
Has Anthea Turner been married before?
Anthea has had a turbulent love life over the past few years and has been divorced twice.
She first married BBC Radio 1 DJ Peter Powell in 1990 however they split up eight years later.
Shortly after, she began dating businessman Grant Povey before tying the knot again in 2000.
The pair separated in 2012 after Grant’s extramarital affair, although briefly reconciled a year later.
However they soon separated again with their divorce finalised in 2015.
Anthea has spoken about how her divorce left her depressed although added her work kept her going.
She told The Mirror: ‘I’d be lying if I said I haven’t wanted to die because everybody knows my business, but in a lot of ways fame has helped me.
