During the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent, Alesha Dixson shared some very happy news – she’s expecting another baby with her husband Azuka Ononye.
Alesha has said that she’s ‘over the moon’ at the news during Monday’s episode, which followed Ant & Dec making the announcement during a musical number.
This will be Alesha’s second child with Azuka and as they prepare to welcome another new baby into their family, here’s what you need to know about him…
Who is Alesha Dixon’s husband Azuka Ononye?
Professional dancer Azuka Ononye, 38, is a British professional dancer.
It is believed he and Alesha married in secret in 2017, however the pair have never confirmed their news.
During an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show Christmas Special in December 2017, Alesha, 39, introduced Azuka as ‘my lovely husband AZ, you can call him Azuka!’ She was not, however, wearing a wedding ring.
The pair had been dating since 2012.
Azuka reportedly began his showbiz career as a commercial model and actor in Nigeria, and has appeared in commercials for the likes of T-Mobile, Guinness and Captain Morgan.

He’s worked a backup dancer for the likes of Tinie Tempah and for Alesha on The X Factor.
The pair reportedly started out as just friends, with previously Alesha saying on The Jonathan Ross Show: ‘I was kind of playing hard to get for about a year.
‘And then I had the foot operation and I couldn’t walk and he was literally sleeping on the floor looking after me every day.
‘I was just looking at him thinking, “That is for better or for worse isn’t it.” I looked a state, he was sleeping on the floor because I was on the couch, I couldn’t even get up the stairs. If he can carry me to the toilet then he’s a keeper.’
The pair welcomed their first child together, five-year-old daughter Azura Sienna Ononye, in October 2013.
Alesha revealed their happy news on her 35th birthday on 7 October.
‘Thank you for all of your lovely birthday messages! I’ve had the best present in the world………,’ she teased, adding: ’My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week!!! I’m elated and over the moon 🙂 x.’
When many of her followers commented on the sudden arrival, Dixon replied: ‘It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long!!! I was in my 6 month of pregnancy at the Britain’s Got Talent final! 🙂 xxx.’
Which, by all accounts, means she could well be six months pregnant with her second child already. August due date, anyone?
