The search is on for more of the UK’s best young singing talent as the third season of The Voice Kids kicks off on ITV.

Once again Emma Willis will be presiding over things as hopefuls aged between 7 and 14 make their bid to impress the coaches, win a spot in the next round – and perhaps be in with a chance of nabbing the series title, along with £30,000 and a family holiday to Universal Orlando Resort.

But there’s been a small change to the panel this year as it gains an extra member – so just who are the coaches in those all-important spinning red chairs?

Here’s what you need to know.

Who are the judges in The Voice Kids?

Pixie Lott

Chart-topping singer Pixie is best known for such number one singles as Mama Do (Uh Oh Uh Oh), Boys And Girls and All About Tonight – while she’s also hit the top 10 with the likes of Kiss The Stars, What Do You Take Me For and Nasty. She also has a fairly enviable track record on The Voice Kids, having been the winning mentor for both series – coaching Jess Folley to the title in 2017 and also mentoring 2018 champion Daniel Davis. Can she make it a hat-trick this year?

Will.i.am

Will.i.am is one of the most familiar faces on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids (Picture: ITV)

Will.i.am originally found fame as a member of the Black Eyed Peas – whose UK number ones have included Where Is The Love? Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, Meet Me Halfway and The Time (Dirty Bit) – while his hits as a solo artist include Scream and Shout, his chart-topping collaboration with Britney Spears.

Will’s also the only coach who appears on both The Voice Kids and The Voice UK – having been a part of the panel on the latter since it began in 2012.

Danny Jones

Danny Jones is back for another year

Danny Jones is known as one of the vocalists and lead guitarists in McFly, who topped the UK charts with their debut single 5 Colours In Her Hair in 2004, and went on to notch up a string of other hits including Obviously, All About You, I’ll Be OK, Don’t Stop Me Now, Please Please, Star Girl and Baby’s Coming Back

While he may not have a Voice Kids title under his belt, he did act as mentor in the first series to Courtney Hadwin – who went on to reach the 2018 final of America’s Got Talent.

Jessie J

Jessie J is no stranger to The Voice franchise (Picture: ITV)

Jessie J is most famous for chart-toppers including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang – her duet with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj – as well as such hits as Do It Like A Dude, Who You Are, It’s My Party and Laserlight.

She’s no stranger to The Voice franchise, having previously appeared in the first two series of The Voice UK, as well as being a coach on The Voice Australia.

When is The Voice Kids on?

The series kicks off on ITV on Saturday night at 8pm.
